It’s been a long wait for the 100th episode, and thankfully, the CW just released a new promo that gives us a glimpse into Klaus’s return. In the minute-long promo, Klaus runs unto our favorite vampire Barbie in the woods, and surprisingly, she looks pretty relieved to see him. There’s also an Australian promo floating around the internet that shows Klaus and Caroline kissing (!!), and more importantly, Caroline is the one initiating the kiss. So we know where this encounter is heading.
But will Caroline regret that decision? In another scene, Caroline confesses to Elena: “I did a bad thing.” Whether or not she regrets the kiss, however, is still TBD. But Klaroline isn’t the only relationship going through ch-ch-changes in the 100th episode. Damon continues to push Elena away.
“Stop acting like I’m perfect! I’ve done horrible things too,” Elena tells Damon, but then he totally freaks. “Stop defending me! I can’t change who I am, but I refuse to change you,” he screams. After waiting four seasons for Delena to get together, all this drama is breaking our hearts. Damon is headed down a downward spiral, and his old buddy Denzo isn’t going to make it easy on him. Are these two headed for a destructive bender?
Meanwhile, Stefan urges Elena not to give up on Damon. “You didn’t give up on me, so don’t give up on Damon.” The old Elena would never give up on Damon, but we have to wonder just how much Elena 2.0 is willing to take. Judging from the sneak peek pics from Season 5, Episode 13 (“Total Eclipse of the Heart”), we’re guessing not very much. Are Damon and Elena over already?
Watch the promo below and decide.
