Glee 100th Episode Spoiler: First Look at Rachel’s Song (PHOTOS)
We're really struggling with the fact that we still have to wait almost two freakin' months for Glee's sure-to-be-epic 100th episode spectacular, which airs its first part on March 18, 2014. But at least these new pics of Rachel (Lea Michele) singing in the episode can help tide us over until then!
We haven't seen Rachel back in the McKinley choir room much this season, with the notable exception being during Season 5, Episode 3: "The Quarterback." But she'll be back to sing a song there in Season 5 Episode 12: "100." It has been reported that the New Directions grads are returning to say goodbye to Schue, as the glee club is disbanding.
On January 20, Lea posted several video stills of herself from the episode. "Singing on the #glee set tonight!" Lea captions a split-screen of two stills (above). "So happy to work w/ the amazing @KChenoweth! I ❤️ her so much! #glee100thepisode." We love Kristin Chenoweth, too, Lea! Indeed, it's exciting to see April Rhodes back on the show, as she and Mr. Schue (Matthew Morrison) are enthralled with Rachel's performance.
However, we have a feeling that it will be a somber performance, since Paris Barclay, the episode's director, tweeted this about the episode: "@msleamichele making me laugh and cry in the very same moment... amazing." So perhaps Rachel will be dedicating the song to Finn (Cory Monteith)?
And Lea added one more peek at the episode by tweeting this:
Okay, the big question: Which song is Rachel singing in this scene? We've gotten a list of rumored song selections for the episode, but none of those are Rachel solos, so we're not sure yet what she's singing here. But regardless of what song it is, we're sure Lea will knock our socks off with it.
Which song do you think Rachel is singing? And do you think she'll dedicate it to Finn?
