Pretty Little Liars 100th Episode Spoilers: Marlene King Pens Spencer and Hanna Scene

Pretty Little Liars executive producer Marlene King is hard at work on the 100th episode of the show (Season 5, Episode 5), and we have our first narrative detail! The 100th episode will include a scene between besties Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Hanna (Ashley Benson). This warms our Hencer-loving hearts, and it sounds like it does Marlene’s, too. What did she tweet about writing the scene?

“I just wrote my first #Hencer scene. How could it have taken so long? #PLL100,” Marlene tweeted yesterday. How, indeed? There should be a Hencer (also known as Spanna) scene in every episode, we say!

Norman Buckley is set to direct Marlene’s script for the 100th episode so, if you hate it, it’s their faults. We kid, we kid! We trust Marlene completely. After all, under her leadership, Pretty Little Liars has made it to its 100th episode, a huge TV milestone that few shows make it to. We’re excited to see what kinds of big moments she has planned for the 100th episode. And Norman has been a PLL directing mainstay. He has directed 17 episodes of Pretty Little Liars, most recently the upcoming Season 5 premiere.

What else do we know about the big 1-0-0? Well, for one, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) will be making his return to Rosewood from Ravenswood, and word on the street is, he will have some serious chemistry with Ali. Also on the docket: Marlene promises to solve one of the mysteries PLL has long-kept unsolved. She told The Hollywood Reporter. "We hope that it's emotionally epic for us. There will be a big reveal: One of our mysteries that we've had for a long time on the show will be revealed in the 100th."

Basically, there’s plenty to look forward to in this upcoming episode! If only we didn’t have to wait until this summer to see it.
