Jennifer Lawrence to Sign $15-20 Million Deal With Dior — Report
If a Page Sixreport is to be believed, Jennifer Lawrence could be receiving a check from Dior with a ton of zeros on it.
The outlet touts that the American Hustle actress (and current Oscar nominee) is primed to sign on the dotted line to partner with the Paris fashion house for three years — a deal worth "between $15 and 20 million." (Another source says that Jen is open to the idea but that there's no deal in place.)
The 23-year-old Academy Award winner first linked up with Dior in 2012 for the fashion house's Miss Dior bag campaign. "It's such a dream to represent an iconic brand that is synonymous with high fashion," she said at the time, via an official statement.
Dior creative director Raf Simons simultaneously sung her praises: "I was … struck by her incredible on-screen presence in these blockbuster films, but also … by her powerful interpretations of subtler, more rounded characters."
She has since appeared in multiple print ads — please refer to exhibits A, B, and C — looking elegant and flawless in each.
Jen has also strutted down award-show red carpets in Dior — even suffering two notorious Dior wardrobe malfunctions, i.e. when her dress became undone at the 2013 SAG Awards and when she tripped at the 2013 Academy Awards.
Good thing she doesn't begrudge the designers — both for her sake and that of her bank account!
