16 and Pregnant is one of MTV's most popular shows, and features a handful of newly-pregnant teen moms, each of whom pops out a baby at the end of their episode. Traditionally, four lucky girls from each season is picked to star on Teen Mom, but the catch? There have been four seasons of 16 and Pregnant, while there are only three chapters of the Teen Mom franchise! The ladies from 16 and Pregnant Season 2B and 16 and Pregnant Season 3 were fresh outta luck when it came to casting Teen Mom, which means their fifteen minutes of fame ended as soon as their episodes did.
While we'd like to think these gals don't care about fame or stardom, 16 and Pregnant Season 2B stars Megan McConnell and Kayla Jordan are more than a little peeved that they weren't given the opportunity to star on Teen Mom.
After bemoaning the fact that she doesn't make tons of money, Megan took it to Twitter and mused, "Sorry for the ranting. I'm just pissed I wasn't lucky enough to become famous lol." Her co-star, Kayla, shot back with "You know what really gets me? Seeing all of these other 'teen moms' make good money and get to do cool stuff but our season just got skipped like it was nothing," to which Megan replied, "Ugh I know. We're the only season that didn't get teen mom. It's so stupid."
We can understand where Kayla and Megan are coming from. After all, their 16 and Pregnant co-stars have become A-listers (and not necessarily in a good way...cough, Farrah Abraham, cough…), and they've received many great opportunities working on Teen Mom. Then again, starlets like Jenelle Evans and Amber Portwood have had to deal with the less glamorous sides of their lives being in the public eye…
