16 and Pregnant’s Kristina Head Loses Libel Lawsuit Against Perez Hilton

Not all publicity is good publicity, reality TV fans! 16 and Pregnant’s Kristina Head (formerly Robinson) learned this the hard way when a post came up on Perez Hilton’s celebrity gossip blog indicating that the reality starlet may have been involved in her late fiancé’s death.

Kristina’s baby daddy Todd Hight, Jr. passed away in a tragic drowning accident just weeks before she began filming Season 4 of 16 and Pregnant and the stress of the loss caused our girl to go into labor early with baby Lukas. The rumors started when Todd’s mother posted on his Facebook page saying shortly after his death, "They killed him. We feel like they all planned this" and "I wonder if she cared @ all."

Perez then picked up the story posting that the mother’s comments indicated Kristina “may” have been involved in Todd’s untimely death.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kristina then sued Perez for libel, but her case was thrown out before making it to trial. The judge didn’t offer specific details on the reason for his decision, but Perez's attorney argued that Kristina’s involvement with 16 and Pregnant "thrust her into the public eye," making her personal life fair game for bloggers.

These days things are looking up for the young mother. She married boyfriend T.J. Head and the couple had baby Tommie in January 2013.

Do you think Kristina’s case should have gone to trial or is that a part of the reality TV world? Tell us below!
