Big Brother 16 Spoilers: Who Is Derrick Levasseur?

Anything you say on Big Brother 16 can and will be used against you by Derrick Levasseur. The 31-year-old police sergeant from Providence, Rhode Island describes himself as "confident, methodical and ambitious."

Derrick shared his Big Brother master plan in his CBS bio: "My strategy involves three phases. First, attempt to find common interests with as many houseguests as I can, while developing a profile on them. Second, start using the facts I learned about the houseguests against them. Finally, if I’m able to win a few HOH's/POV's late in the game, I can make some moves that will determine the winner."

He's certainly ambitious to already be planning to win comps late in the game (and he didn't know about the two-HOH twist this season; always expect the unexpected).

Derrick has a pretty impressive background. He went to college on a full ride baseball scholarship and got his master’s degree in Business Management. His bio says she's been a police sergeant for 10 years after starting as an undercover officer when he was only 20 years old. Not bad! That undercover experience will help. (He's not planning to tell the HGs that he's a cop.)

One thing he already has in common with some HGs is that he has a child (she's 17-months-old). If he could take anything into the house with him, he said he'd take "a picture of my daughter as she is everything to me," plus he'd also bring "my memory foam pillow since I need a good night sleep and a deck of cards."

The past HG he likes the most is Dan. "I love that Dan Gheesling was always using sports analogies to pump himself up because I'm the same way." Hopefully he won't get so pumped up that he needs to be deflated, since his family won't be around to help. He said that's going to be the toughest part of being inside the Big Brother House. "Even though you are in the house with other people, you have to remember that they are trying to take $500,000 away from you and it will be tough to not have my family to release some of the tension."

In his CBS video he said he’s willing to push the envelope to win, although his job outside the game does require him to have a certain level of integrity. (The most recent Survivor winner, Tony Vlachos, is also a police officer and he got criticized for … maybe not playing with such integrity.)

Are you Team Derrick this season? Do you think he has what it takes to win or is this just not his year?
