By now you all know that the cast of Glee performed at the White House on Monday for the annual Easter Egg Roll. But what you might not be aware of is the reason the cast received the prestigious honor. Apparently, First Daughter Sasha Obama is a big fan. Well, maybe.
Glee co-creator and executive producer Ian Brennan told reporters that despite the rumor that President Obama doesn't let his daughters watch the hit series because they're too young, at least one of the girls still finds time to sneak in some episodes. And while he acknowledged that Malia might not be a Gleek, he suggested that the First Lady, Michelle Obama, is a major fan!
Brad Falchuk, another co-creator and executive producer went a step further: "I would encourage all four of them to get Congress to mandate [watching Glee], so it's some kind of a law that everyone in the country has to watch it. Call it Glee reform." First the White House, then the nation. Where will Glee's domination end?
