Gleek Off! Cover Contest: Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb”

It turns out the cast members of Glee aren't the only people who do amazing covers of the songs you love... or are completely sick of. (Seriously, can we all collectively decide Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" has been covered enough? Please?!) Each week, we'll choose our two favorite YouTube covers of a song performed that week on Glee, and let you decide which of the two is best! You'll be doing your part to make someone a star... while simultaneously crushing the other person's dreams! (You should be ashamed. How do you sleep at night?) And now... here are the two best covers that we could find. It's time for you to rock the vote! Yes we can!

From "Laryngitis": Miley Cyrus — "The Climb"

This powerful version by Rafem features singer Lynzie Kent on vocals, plus acoustic guitar accompaniment. Looks like all of Lynzie's shoes were stored away in one of those two closets! (And her room has two closets?! Jealous!)

Talk about not judging a book by its cover! We had no idea the guy in this video by singindork888 would be capable of this voice, not to mention the guitar work. But don't blame us for pigeonholing him — he's the one with the word "dork" on his shirt!
