The Bachelorette

Justin ‘Rated-R’ Rego Posts Official Statement About Monday’s Episode

Justin "Rated-R" Rego just released "my official statement about Monday's episode" on his official Bachelorette Facebook fan page. Before reading further, please be sure to cue the violins. Ready? Okay.

In the statement, Justin alleges, among other things:

1. He's single and was not in a relationship before going on the show.
2. Despite leaving the guys with "f--k you, straight up," he has nothing but positive things to say about the guys.
3. He was "very confused" when he left the voice-mails to Jessica Spillas and was "disgusted" to hear his private and personal voice mails on air.
4. The voice mails were left after he told the producers in Iceland that he wanted off the show.
5. He called his mom at some point and she told him to call Jessica because the producers had contacted Jessica in Toronto.
6. Jessica helped him when he was injured and showed him that she was someone he would want to spend his life with. But now he thinks she had ulterior motives and he wants no contact with her ever again.

He finishes with an anthem of victimhood:

"I feel betrayed, manipulated and unfairly lied too by both the Producers of ABC's The Bachelorette and Jessica. Due to the Producers of ABC's The Bachelorette wanting this scandal created at the expense of my character, I will not be attending The Men Tell All. I will not give the producers of this show the opportunity to have the chance of editing me to their liking once again. Its truly unfortunate that the Producers of The Bachelorette took this experience that was supposed to be an amazing moment that I will never forget, and made it into a living hell for me. I will end this statement asking you to always keep this in mind that you can't believe everything you see on TV, and please don't be so quick to judge someone based on what you see on TV."

Read the full statement here. Then ask yourself why he is still scheduled to be a part of this Fans of Reality TV Cruise, formerly known as the Reid Rosenthal & Friends Cruise before Reid dropped out. Actually, hang onto that thought. Justin is opening himself up to media interviews and we'll ask him that ourselves. Check back for our interview tomorrow! And be sure to let us know what other questions you want Justin to answer in the comments section below.
