Anatomy of an Outfit: Hanna’s Edgy and Soft Perfection
Standing in front of Spencer’s mirror, shuffling through wardrobe choices, Hanna looks at her reflection and says, “This has to be the perfect outfit.” Luckily for her, we have declared Hanna’s look for a night out with her dad to be a bonafide hit. And to help the rest of us create our own version of perfection, we’re breaking down her look point-by-point.
The key is in the contrasts — hard vs. soft, mixed metals — so start by finding a great fitted blazer to pair with a full, flirty skirt. Hanna rocked a cropped jacket with her ribbon-trimmed tiered skirt, but a shorter blazer also works well with dresses and high-waisted pants. Like the girls of PLL, versatility is a very good friend. For accessories, switch up the embellishments. Combining different stones, finishes, and metals takes the look to a level of sophistication few teens dare to attempt!
