Grey's Anatomy is hooked on throwing hot new doctors directly into the center of their major drama. (Hey, we’re not complaining!) The latest physician sure to get pulses racing is James Tupper, who has signed on for at least two episodes this fall as a trauma counselor. His character will help the staff deal with the aftermath of the crazy-intense Season 6finale shootings.
Tupper arrives at Seattle Grace complete with a resume that includes prior television doc experience — he played Dr. Chris Sands on the medical drama Mercy. He's also well versed in the Grey's staple of working relationships sliding into the romantic arena. Tupper met the now-mother-of-his-child, Anne Heche, on the set of Men in Trees... while they were both married to other people! Hmm, do we see a guest spot as a psych patient in Anne's future?
