Pam Anderson is across the pond in England to enjoy a bit of panto — or as you know it here, pantomime. But, wait, does that mean Pam's a mime now? Not exactly.
In Britain "pantomime" takes familiar fairy tales and children's stories — Cinderella, Aladdin, Snow White — and injects a bit of "vaudeville sensibility, contemporary references and audience participation to create a raucous, noisy entertainment that's fun for everyone in the family." And Pam loves it!
"People always say Americans don't get it, but I think it's terrific," she told the BBC. "I wish they did more theatre like this in America. I think people would love it. And it's nice [that] children experience theatre for the first time sometimes coming to panto and I think it would be nice to encourage that in America as well, at a younger age."
Meanwhile, Pam is also keeping up her Dancing with the Stars chops! "I don't know if it's Strictly Come Dancing [the UK version of DWTS] but I know I've been invited to the UK to do some dancing," she said. "Any chance I can to dance because I love it so much so I'm sure we're going to be doing things and hopefully here. I would in a second." Just make sure Bruno is watching!
