We have yet to hear Len Goodman's first Season 11 gripe and yet half of the contestants have already been dubbed "favorites" to win. Of course we won't know who's good and who's good-to-go-home-first until we see them dance liiiiiiive, but that's never stopped us from making early predictions.
So here we are, flashing forward to the Season 11 finals where only three couples are left. Here's what we think might happen. Hold on to this story so you can laugh at us in 10 weeks:
Mike establishes himself as a natural dancer early on in the season and he has sexy (too sexy for Len) chemistry with Karina. But the fan vote just isn't there. He's routinely in the bottom two until halfway through the season when he just makes a power play for the top. Through sheer dance floor prowess he squeaks by popular showman David Hasselhoff to make the finals. In the end, his freestyle dance is just too "seen it already" to surpass the top two.
At first, the fans just support Tony, happy that he has a better partner than Kate. Audrina is gorgeous and leggy, but a bit stiff and awkward at first. She's missing the showmanship of The Situation, The Hoff and Brandy. She slowly loosens up and really hits her stride toward the end of the competition. The finals become a showdown between DWTS pro BFFs Tony and Maks. Fans pick Team Tony or Team Maks, but are really cheering both on to win their first mirror ball trophies.
Brandy is the winner, but the spotlight ends up on Maks. After three previous times in the finals he finally gets his win. Brandy has been good from day one, but she hits a slow spell in the middle of the competition when the judges want to see her improve instead of just staying at the same level. In the end, Maks choreographs an outstanding freestyle and Brandy nails it. Erin Andrews cries from the sidelines as Tony lifts Maks onto his shoulders, mirror ball trophy in hand.
What's your early prediction? Say it loud and proud now so we can compare notes at the end of the season. You just might be right.
