Interview: Bachelor Pad Winners Dave and Natalie Clear Up Rumors

Joking and talking over one another, David Good and Natalie Getz talked today about their (at least to them) not-so surprising win and how they'll spend the money.

What's the first thing you are going to do, or have already done, with the money?

Dave: I've already started getting my Man Code book in line, so they can purchase that online already. That's where I'm putting a lot of the money toward.

Natalie: Well I'm not gonna lie, I bought two new pairs of shoes already. And I'm going to pay off my student loans, that's what's definitely been a stress. Every morning I wake up stressed out because of those loans. So that's the best feeling and then I don't know. Kind of be smart about it, invest it. I've got that charity for prostate cancer that I talked about and we'll see. Then it'll probably all be gone.

How did you celebrate your win?

Natalie: Last night I watched the episode with about eight of my girlfriends ... and let's see, I don't know, I've just been talking on the phone with all my friends and my family kind of celebrating over the phone since I live so far away from them. Me being in L.A., they're in Chicago. I've just had different friends taking me out. I went to Washington, D.C. over the weekend, it was awesome. I've just, honestly, it hasn't even hit me yet. It still seems so surreal.

Dave: I just got home from filming that show for the first time. I literally got home last night at 7:30, the show came on at 8. I watched it with my roommate ... obviously my phone lit up, I talked to my family, my friends and stuff. I haven't really had time to celebrate yet. I've kind of been on the road working, trying to get stuff done. But I definitely want to put together something big with Natalie, a party for everybody on the show and everybody involved so we're not selfish with the money.

Natalie: And Dave's going to pay for it!

What are your plans for the future in terms of careers? Will you go back to what you were doing or continue in television?

Natalie: When I was on The Bachelor I never even thought about doing anything TV-related, honestly. My focus is the fashion industry. ... Now I can go back to what I went to school for. My focus was fashion styling. And I'm gaining connections and networking slowly in the entertainment industry, hoping to get there. You need money to kind of focus on that, on your fashion style, cause it's not a high-paying job at first.

Dave: I'm going on a six-month 100 city book tour as soon as my book releases, probably around the end of November. So that's going to take up quite a bit of time, then I'm going to see how much that pans out and where I go from there.
You have a casual but more than friendship relationship. Is there a next step? When are you guys planning on seeing each other again?

Dave wants more, of course! [They laugh] Dave and I, you know, we kind of talked about [how] now that we've won this money ... we can take a vacation and go somewhere tropical and fun and kind of celebrate together. I don't know, we haven't actually talked about that yet because we've just been so crazy busy celebrating.

Dave: It's difficult right now. You win the money and all this, and this is the busiest time in our lives, and we live 2,000 miles apart. And, you know, we need to capitalize on it and do the right things and ... do these interviews and everything, so it's difficult for us. When all this is said and done we're probably going to pack it up and go away by ourselves where we can actually spend some time together.
