That’s Hot: The Beverly Hills Housewives’ Hollywood Connections
Talk about a well-connected cast! Starting October 14, the women of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will find themselves in the spotlight — but a number of them are already quite used to living in the public eye. Here are the cast members' numerous connections to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
Kim and Kyle Richards are two actors who don't seem to have gotten quite as messed up as some of their fellow child stars. Kim starred in numerous Disney films, including Escape to Witch Mountain, while Kyle appeared in Halloween and had recurring roles on Little House on the Prairie and ER. Plus, the sisters are both aunts to Paris and Nicky Hilton. (Paris did not inherit Kim and Kyle's acting chops. We shudder just thinking about House of Wax.)
Maybe you've heard of a little show called Frasier? Or Cheers? Housewife Camille Grammer was married to sitcom star Kelsey Grammer — aka Dr. Frasier Crane — for 14 years, before filing for divorce in July 2010. Together, the two own Gramnet, Inc., the production company behind Medium and Girlfriends. While married to Kelsey, she was stepmom to his daughter Spencer Grammer, a sitcom star best known for her starring role as Casey Cartwright in Greek. Camille herself has appeared in a few films, including Woody Allen's Deconstructing Harry and Howard Stern's raunchy Private Parts, and she's also posed for Playboy. Okay, so her acting career isn't of the same caliber as her husband's, but very few are.
Any basketball fans? Along with her mother and four brothers, Adrienne Maloof is part-owner of the Maloof family empire, which includes the Sacramento Kings NBA team, a TV and film production company called Sweeping Palms Entertainment, and the Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas. Let's just hope, for the sake of any guests that have stayed in the room where The Real World was filmed, that the Palms hires a spectacular cleaning staff.
