Two Gay Men Join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
The Real Housewives franchises have never limited themselves to actual "housewives": NYC has Brad Boles, Jill Zarin's "gay husband," Atlanta has Dwight Eubanks, NeNe Leakes's gay best friend, and D.C. has the snarky Paul Wharton. Given that, it comes as no surprise that the latest Bravo spin-off, focused on six successful ladies in Beverly Hills, features two gay men as supporting cast members.
The new boys include Cedric Martinez, 35, an international model and actor who has been linked to several celebrities including Lance Bass; and Dwight Coates, 34, a successful management consultant executive and real estate investor.
A source close to Cedric says he "usually appears in little to nothing on the show no matter the venue. ... He is no stranger to the Los Angeles celebrity clientele and knows private jets better than the commercial fare." Cedric currently lives in the 3,500-square-foot guest house behind castmate Lisa Vanderpump's $32 million dollar mansion in the exclusive Beverly Park community.
Dwight is a lifelong friend — and business partner — of Housewife Taylor Armstrong. The two friends "run in a very elite group of people across the globe," the source says. "Whereas Cedric entertains, Dwight is more subdued." Really? This doesn't sound too subdued: "Dwight doesn't hold back when it comes to giving advice on the show and apparently says some pointed comments," the source adds. "Comments most people would think but not actually say." That's more like it! Welcome to the Housewives, boys.
