Taylor Armstrong’s Husband Filed for Bankruptcy in 2005
This relationship just got more confusing. On the premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, gorgeous Taylor Armstrong seems to be counting the minutes until her husband of seven years, Russell Armstrong, cheats on her with a younger woman. That's her justification for getting so much work done she's almost half Muppet. Then the camera cuts to her big man Russell, who is not exactly George Clooney, and now it sounds like he doesn't even have the money to back it up.
According to documents TMZ checked out from U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Russell filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in October of 2005. He claims he had less than $50,000 in assets and debt somewhere between $1 million and $10 million. Supposedly he made a lot during the 1990s dot com boom but took a hit when the bubble burst. And, TMZ reports, it got worse for him after 9/11, with an IRS dispute and a "costly" palimony lawsuit filed by a former fiancée.
The Armstrongs seem like they're doing fine now, but maybe this is the real reason why Taylor has her own business on the side. But why is she so paranoid about losing her man? Sounds like he's lucky to have her.
