The Bachelorette

Bachelorette Jillian Would Pick Ed Again, Thinks Brad Will Be Great Bachelor

Bubbly Jillian Harris has no regrets about going on Jason Mesnick's drama-feuled season of The Bachelor (Melissa! Molly! Melissa! Molly!) or having her own controversy-strewn season of The Bachelorette.

Remember Tanner Pope's foot fetish? Wes Hayden's "girlfriend"? Dave Good's "man code"? Ed Swiderski's decision to leave the show for work, allegedly hook up with chicks in Chicago, and then ask Jillian to take him back? Jake Pavelka was actually the good guy back then! Who wouldn't want to relive all that? "I would do it all over again in a heartbeat and I would pick Ed again," Jillian tells TV Guide in a new video interview. (We're still Team Reid Rosenthal. Jillian, you should've stuck with the Honey Bear.)

Jillian and Ed started their relationship knee-deep in the tabloids for his supposed womanizing back home. But they stayed engaged until this past summer, when they broke up and she moved back to Vancouver. She's now busy as a designer on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition — she shot two episodes and is about to shoot a third — and she redesigned the apartment rented by Season 6 Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and her fiance Roberto Martinez.

Considering how long Jillian kept Tanner, Wes, and Ed around, it's not too shocking that she's totally open to the idea of Brad Womack as the once-and-future Bachelor. "I think it's going to be great," she says of the upcoming season, which starts in January. "I'm very liberal about certain things and it takes a lot for me to be hard on somebody."

She thinks America should give Brad a second chance. "I think they're all going to love him," Jillian says. "I think America will fall in love with him again. He just has to pick somebody this time."
