JWOWW’s Clothing Line Flops

Filthy Couture looks to be one of the first Jersey Shore branded products to fade into obscurity. JWOWW's clothing line featured lingerie and hand-silicon painted dresses, with Swarovski crystals and European lace, all designed by the busty bombshell herself. The clothing styles were suggestively titled Pure Sin, Luscious Links, Violet Desire, Sexy Siren, and the like, essentially not bothering to throw off the scent of stripperwear whatsoever. The website launched in July, but a company with a similar sounding name threatened a lawsuit, and JWOWW immediately shut it down.

Apparently, she lacks Mike's entrepreneurial drive. Says a source close to JWOWW, "She could have given her line a new name but instead just let it go. She's no longer designing clothes for her line and I'm not sure if she'll ever do it again."

Despite legal issues, however, the line was instantly popular, with so many orders flooding the website that it crashed the day it launched. Says another friend, "She couldn't handle the clothing line and didn't really have the help she needed." It looks like JWOWW needs to take some lessons from The Situation in branding and get some better people behind her before she takes her Jersey Shore-found fame to the next level. Or, she could always just sell straight to strippers and take out the middle man.
