Yes, we have once again reached the long Grey's winter hiatus. We won't see a new episode until January 6th, 2011, which means a lonely December without Seattle Grace. But, let's focus on all the good things we have to look forward to, shall we? (Spoilers ensue.)
Teddy's impending marriage to Scott Foley's character. Wait, what? Yeah, apparently, all those reports we read of an upcoming rushed Grey's wedding performed by a justice of the peace are true, and Teddy will marry the patient to score him some insurance. While this storyline is totally unrealistic, Foley couldn't be more adorable, and we like seeing Teddy's soft and gooey side.
The Calzona make-up. Callie seemed to take Arizona's return rather poorly in last night's episode, but a tear may have escaped us when Arizona told her newly hairstyled ex-girlfriend that she looked really pretty.
In the promo for the second half of the season, we saw Cristina back in scrubs. Looks like her fishing trip with Derek did her some good after all. Kevin McKidd has leaked that there's a big Owen/Cristina storyline in the second half of the season, too.
The musical episode. We know that it's definitely happening and that, instead of writing original songs, the cast will incorporate songs that Grey's Anatomy has made iconic. It'll be a Callie-heavy episode (being that Sara Ramirez is the resident Tony-winner on set), but Chandra Wilson dishes that someone we may not expect proves to have a great voice. "Kevin McKidd is a rock star," she gushes. "We've had the pleasure of hearing him sing, and he's just a rock star! You'd be amazed."
Ugh, we're dying to ring in the new year. Is it January, yet?
