Anatomy of an Outfit: Rachel Berry Bundles Up

We don’t know about you, but the bitter cold combined with the post-holiday return to the real world has us feeling a little blah. For an easy pick-me-up, we’ve decided to drool over fashion from our fave show! And what better clothing to examine than Rachel’s adorable outerwear from Season 2, Episode 10, “A Very Glee Christmas,” when she and Finn crooned “Last Christmas” in the tree lot?

It’s not December anymore, but we’ve got at least three more months of winter ahead of us. Plenty of time to covet warm coats and sweet scarves before we pack them away. The good news? Rachel’s actual outfit is surprisingly affordable!

We found her killer pea coat in a pale yellow (the siren red option is sold out) on sale for a mere $33. We love its clean lines, flattering shape, and gold buttons. Her Juicy Couture ivory rhinestone beret is also to die for — a worthy splurge at $46.

We weren’t able to determine precisely which ivory scarf Rachel chose to match her beret, so we’ve selected a chunky wool knit to keep you toasty. Instead of her brown boots, we recommend shearling booties for that extra kick of warmth and style. Hot, hot, hot!
