Paris Hilton Follows in Aunts’ Footsteps, Gets Another Reality TV Show
Yeah, we know. Paris Hilton was on a reality show far before her aunts, Kyle and Kim Richards, ever let cameras into their lives. (And yes, we do own every season of The Simple Life on DVD. What about it?)
But with the recent (and sweeping) success of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we can’t help but think Paris’ recent announcement that she’s returning to the small screen might have been sparked by her aunt’s growing popularity. Knowing Paris, she couldn’t let her aunts’ have all the fun (and money) without getting in on a little herself, right?
Paris’ show will debut in Spring 2011 on Oxyen. But this time around, the celebutante says people will really get to see the “real Hilton.”
“When I did The Simple Life I was playing a character that I created, and I had no idea it would last so many seasons, so I had to continue doing that character, so I think people assume that's really how I am. But when they see this new show they're going to see the real me,” she told PopEater. She went on to say: "It's a show like I've never done before. I'm really letting cameras into my real life, and it's just a really all-access pass into what goes on."
Considering the Hiltons are pretty close with the Richards (though, obvi not close enough to attend their cousin’s college grad party), we can guess there’s gonna be some real crossover action going on if RHoBH is green lighted for a second season.
Which leads us to this question: Who needs Camille Grammer if you have Paris Hilton? Just sayin’.
