Meet One of the Sister Wives From Bones’ “The Sin in the Sisterhood”
Meet Michelle Joyner. She might not look familiar now, but she will after tonight’s episode of Bones. In it Michelle plays Maryann Samuel, one of the pearl-wearing wives whose polygamist husband is found dead in a cornfield, disguised as a scarecrow.
In the past, Michelle has landed roles that required her character to die — the most memorable being Sarah in the 1993 thriller Cliffhanger, starring Sylvester Stallone. But her mom, Connie, swears her daughter will live tonight. “I do know she lives in this one, though. She was killed in a lot of the other roles she’s played.”
Michelle caught the “acting bug” in high school after auditioning and winning a leading role in her senior play. It’s a good thing because she might have to channel her high school self for tonight’s episode: In it her dead husband is also married to her two sisters. Can you say competition? Needless to say their behavior and feelings will be very reminiscent of those young teen years.
