Lisa Vanderpump Feels Bad for “Publicly Humiliated” Camille Grammer
If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that 2010 was not Camille Grammer’s year. From her stint as the “villain” on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills(which earned her the not-so-coveted title of Most Hated Housewife ever) to her very messy public divorce, everything sort of hit the fan for Camille last year.
But fellowRHoBH castmate Lisa Vanderpump blames Camille’s bad on (and off) screen behavior on a lot of things, none of them being that Camille’s a “bad guy.” Actually, quite the contrary. Lisa tells PopEater that Camille was “very naive” early on, and her naivety to the cameras — and “how to behave” in front of them — was the root of her problems. And then, Lisa says something else happened, which consequently knocked a few more screws lose: the shocking news of Camille’s divorce. "...Toward the end of the season, I think you also saw what she went through,” Lisa says. “I think for a woman to be publicly humiliated like that, when you've got cameras in your house and filming your life, it was extremely difficult for her."
We still don’t know if that warrants kissing another woman’s husband on the lips or inviting a psycho psychic over to tell someone her husband will never fulfill her, but we can imagine it probably sucked. A lot.
