Top 3 Grossest Moments From Bones Season 6, Episode 13: “The Daredevil in the Mold”
You know it's a gross episode of Bones when the dead body is the least icky aspect of the whole thing. Sure, "The Daredevil in the Mold" features a mildewing corpse, but it also has bed bugs, smelly teas, and strange body parts being used as an accessory. Not following? Read on for our picks for the three grossest moments from Thursday's episode.
3. When you gotta go… We’re not oblivious to the fact that everyone goes the bathroom. But when Fisher — who’s usually channeling SNL's Debbie Downer — spends the entire episode going on about some magic calming tea, we would have preferred to not have to hear about it from both ends. After one too many cups, Fisher needs two minutes to use the john, but Dr. Brennan denies him because she "has many interns to choose from." As a result, he chooses to stay (with his legs firmly crossed), and in return we all have to listen to the gurgling down south.
2. Award for weirdest souvenir goes to… When the victim is found with a tooth in his possession, Booth automatically assumes it must belong to the guy who murdered him. But when he brings the owner of said canine in for questioning, he finds out it’s nothing more than a souvenir. The two teens got into a brawl and literally punched each other's teeth out. Now they carry them around as a reminder of a battle well fought. We just think the teen Booth interrogated could have found a better place to carry it than on his keychain.
1. An app for everything Bed bugs have been a hot topic for quite a while, so it was only a matter of time before one showed up on our favorite TV show. As if hearing about a "chimney-swift bed bug" hitching a ride on the dead body (wait, was the bus too expensive?) isn't gross enough, Hodgins has to put a graphic of the disgusting creature on the big screen. But according to Fisher, tracking down where it came from shouldn't be too hard because, "there's an app for that." We're with Cam: Eww.
