Guys on The Bachelor — especially in the early seasons — are usually chosen for their looks and bank accounts. Unfortunately, Season 2 Bachelor Aaron Buerge is having an issue with the latter.
According to the Baltimore Sun, the banker and restaurant owner has filed for personal bankruptcy. Court documents show that Aaron and his businesses are $7 million in debt. His largest liabilities are reportedly Trolley's restaurant and the Vandivort Center building on Walnut Street in downtown Springfield, Missouri. Trolley's filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy nine months ago.
Aaron told the Baltimore Sun that three banks with which he does business were distressed or failed and that he is reaffirming all the other debts.
When Aaron was the Bachelor back in 2002, he proposed to Helene Eksterowicz. They broke up after a few months, and he married Angye McIntosh in 2009.
