Adrian Pasdar Feels “Very Fortunate” in Nathan Fillion’s Presence

Considering we only watch him play a character on TV but admire his every move, it must be hard not to fall in love with Nathan Fillion (Castle) if you’re hangin’ around him IRL.

While shooting his guest spot on Castle, Adrian Pasdar (FBI agent Mark Fallon) definitely fell prey to Fillion fever (What? Bieber isn’t the only celeb allowed to have his own epidemic!) Pasdar’s character is — admittedly — kind of a “douche,” but just because Fallon isn’t Castle and Beckett’s on-screen BFF doesn’t mean there wasn’t some chemistry off-screen. Pasdar says he and Fillion were actually quite big fans of each other. Do we smell a bromance?

Pasdar on Fillion: ”Nathan Fillion is one of the greatest men that’s ever walked the earth, as far as I’m concerned. I’ve met a lot of good men and he ranks up in the top five, he’s probably number six actually. I’m kidding. He’s a great guy, and what an amazing group of people that they’ve surrounded him with. To walk into that set and to be absorbed the collective talent, it’s rare. I felt very fortunate to be in their presence. People say this shit all the time, but it’s true — people who behave and are professional, and really contribute to the overall well-being of the entire crew… The show is called Castle. It’s his show and he is so nice to every single person, not just because he has to, because that is his nature.”

But what now? Filming is over, so does that mean the budding friendship is dunzo? Heck no! Pasdar says his character’s storyline is open-ended, so there’s always a chance he’ll come back. “...If I should come back they’re all going to [hang] their heads for a split second and go, 'Oh no, not him again.' I mean the characters on the show, not the producers,” he quips.

We’re sure Nathan is happy to hear that.
