This beautiful song played at the end of the episode, as Marti tearfully looked through the suitcase containing her father's belongings. Can you imagine not knowing anything about your Dad and then finding all of these clues to who he was in your early 20s? So intense!
Some of the things she encounters include faded photos of a young and sexy Wanda, baby pictures of herself, guitar picks, an old hat, and sheet music from Rex's original songs. Throwing on his hat and strumming his tunes on her guitar, Marti feels a true connection with her Dad for the first time.
Could these lyrics be any more fitting? "If I should leave you / Try to remember the good times/ Warm days filled with sunshine / And just a little bit of rain... / And if you look back / Try to forget all the bad times / Lonely blue and sad times / And just a little bit of rain."
