Details on Tyler Blackburn’s Award-Winning Indie Career
While we wait with bated breath to find out if Caleb Rivers will return to Rosewood after hopping a bus to Arizona in Pretty Little Liars Season 1, Episode 21, “Monsters in the End,” we can get ready to see Tyler Blackburn on the big screen in his new indie movie, Peach Plum Pear.
The film follows Jesse (Tyler Blackburn) and his friend Will, who set out on a road trip from Los Angeles to Chicago but end up stranded in Nebraska when their car is stolen. They meet Dora, and Jesse starts falling for her despite her issues with the men in her life.
“It actually won best picture at the Reel Independent Film Festival,” Tyler tells StarsEntertainment.com. “It is going to be in Toronto next month and I’m going to support it at the Female Eye Film Festival. It’s a film festival that showcases independent films directed by women. It was [director Alana Morshead’s] first feature that she directed so it was kind of a cool experience for everybody.”
The drifter role seems to be a great step up for Tyler and we hope the film is well received in Toronto. But in all honesty, we’re hoping Tyler’s film career can revolve around his shooting schedule for Pretty Little Liars!
