Tyra’s School Girl Routine: How a Harvard Girl Stays Fierce
Ty-Ty's been getting a lot of attention lately for becoming a Harvard girl — for three weeks a year at least. She's enrolled in an executive business course at Harvard Business School that runs an intensive three weeks a year for three years before she finally gets to graduate. Perfect sched for a jet-setting working girl like Tyra, no?
While she isn't required to report to her Monday-Saturday classes until 7:30 a.m., Tyra rises and shines out of her mandatory dorm room bed at 4:45 every morning to start her day. "I have to work out and eat breakfast beforehand and get ready and be a female," she says, all before she actually goes to meet up with her study group.
Altogether, 180 students are enrolled in the course, but only 18 of them are women, including Tyra. When it comes to beefing up the female presence in the business world, she admits, "We still have a lot of work to do." More power to Miss Tyra for taking on college at 37 after skipping it the first time around to pursue modeling. Maybe there's hope for all those Top Modelcontestants who say they want to go back to school after their modeling careers have fizzled out, after all.
