We’ve got good news, Skins US fans! After many advertisers jumped ship earlier in the season, Skins US has gained another advertiser. The fast food restaurant White Castle has added themselves to the list of advertisers who have agreed to be aired during the MTV show, along with Red Bull and Clearasil. Pretty sweet!
While, of course, we’re happy about Skins US bringing in added revenue for MTV, we’re even more excited about this development as it hints at the possibility of a second season. As in, signing on to be an advertiser for only one episode — which is all that remains of Season 1 — doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, does it? Add this to the fact that ratings for the show have leveled off at a respectable 1 million viewers per episode and things are looking up for our fave show!
Of course, this is all just speculation. We’re not quite at celebration time… but we can feel it coming. Come on, MTV! Don’t let us down!
