The Bachelor

Ridiculous Rumor of the Day: Will Brad Womack Be the Bachelor a Third Time?

Rosemaster Chris Harrison has already said ABC would never ask Brad Womack to come back to be the Bachelor a third time. "I told Brad, I was like, ‘This is it, man. You’re done. Good, bad, indifferent, don’t screw this up, ‘cause that’s it.’”

But PopEater claims that might not be the case. Writer Rob Shuter revealed that several ABC insiders have told him internal discussions have already taken place surrounding Brad possibly coming back for a third time. For some reason, they think it could be great for ratings — despite Brad’s season finale drawing 15 percent fewer viewers than Jake’s season finale.

"No one ever thought Brad would be invited back for a second time after he rejected both women the first time he appeared," an insider told PopEater. "So it's not totally out of the question that Brad could return again if he and Emily stop trying to make this relationship work."

At this point, Brad and Emily are trying the long-distance thing. They were both recently in Austin, Texas, where he lives, but she recently returned to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she lives with her daughter Ricki.

"If Brad hadn't found love the second time there is no way he would ever be invited back on the show," a show insider tells me. "But after America saw him try so hard to make his relationship work with Emily, they like him again. Everyone thinks Emily tricked him — they feel sorry for him."
