The Bachelor

Vote Now! Who Should Be the Next Bachelor?

Even though The Bachelor Season 15 just ended, and The Bachelorette Season 7 hasn’t even started yet, we can still speculate on the Season 16 guy, right? ABC typically casts from among the Bachelorette’s castoffs, but what if they were to get more creative? After all, there are a lot of handsome, eligible bachelors out there whom we wouldn’t mind watching for 10 weeks next Winter.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Sure, Maks just finished shooting the Ukrainian version of The Bachelor — and he seemed to have a rough time of it — but the 31-year-old needs to pay his dues to his adoring American fans! We’ll watch Maks do anything, and we know a lot of ladies stateside who would looooove to tango with Dancing With the Stars’ “Bad Boy of the Ballroom.”

George Clooney
Has the once-married serial dater found the right woman? The 49-year-old leading man has a hot girlfriend right now, but he hasn’t put a ring on it just yet — so maybe the door is still open for The One. We can dream, right?

Ryan Reynolds
Ryan, 34, and his ex-wife Scarlett Johansson recently went their merry ways. While she’s snuggling with Sean Penn, he’s rumored to be dating a German model. He seems like a relationship guy, and he was once engaged to smarty pants Alanis Morrissette, so he doesn’t just go for the young hotties. He’s funny and charismatic and looks great with his shirt off. Sold!

Ryan Gosling
Which Ryan is your favorite? We’re always going to swoon over R.Gos thanks to The Notebook. Who doesn’t want her own love story with this talented 30-year-old Canadian? He’s also a smart, serious guy who isn’t afraid to date older women like Sandra Bullock. Wouldn’t it be nice if the Bachelor picked a lady older than himself instead of someone (14 years) younger?

John Stamos
He's was adorable on Full House, funny on Entourage, and even cuter on Glee! He says he won't fill in for Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men, but will he go on The Bachelor? He and Rebecca Romijn divorced in 2005, and she married Jerry O'Connell — brother of Season 7 Bachelor Charlie O'Connell — but 47-year-old John is still single. Can we have him?

Ian Somerhalder
We know and love this 32-year-old Vampire Diaries hottie as Mr. Smolderhotter. He’s a passionate environmental activist who loves to raise money for animal shelters and lives with a bunch of cats. If he got any cuter, we’d die.

Mike Catherwood
The current co-host of Loveline with Dr. Drew made a brief appearance on The Bachelor during Brad Womack’s Season 15. “Psycho Mike” has two left feet on Dancing With the Stars Season 12, but the 32-year-old is a cutie and he’s funny as all heck. Why not let him return to The Bachelor in a different role? Out of all these options, Mike is the most realistic. Why not?
