Pretty Little Liars

What Would the Pretty Little Liars Be Doing If They Weren’t Actors?

The Pretty Little Liars stars have the best jobs in the world! Don’t get us wrong, acting is hard work, but we’re seriously jealous. But if they weren’t actors on PLL, they’d have some equally cool professions. And good news, most of them would have still been in the spotlight. Check out all your fave stars' hopes and dreams...

We can’t imagine PLL without Lucy Hale (Aria), but if this talented lady wasn’t starring on TV, she’d probably be a singer. Lucy started out on American Juniors and she might get back into singing. But don’t worry, she isn’t abandoning acting. She'd do both, of course!

Ashley Benson (Hanna) would have definitely been a dancer. Have you seen her moves? Ash has been dancing since she was three and even appeared in several music videos. She also spent some time modeling, so no matter what, she was destined to become a star.

The gorgeous Shay Mitchell (Emily) was an international model at 15, so she would have had no problem making a career out of it. However, Shay always did acting on the side and as she got older, she realized she wanted to pursue it. Shay has the best of both worlds now because she stars on PLL while modeling as the face of Pantene.

Troian Bellisario (Spencer) was bound to become an actress because her family is in the film industry and she’s been acting since age three. But if Troian decided to pursue a different path, we bet she’d do something in the music industry. Troian is the go-to girl for finding new music and she's very well-versed, so we could see her working for a record company.

Tammin Sursok (Jenna) would have definitely been a singer because in addition to acting, she’s also an Australian pop star. Tammin released a single in 2004 and within a week, it reached the top 10 chart. Impressive right?

Can you imagine Ian Harding (Ezra) as a psychologist? He might have become one if acting didn’t work out. Ian explained to Interview magazine, “I would like to think that maybe I would be doing something in psychology or something of that nature because I love that vein of medicine — the getting down and getting nitty-gritty.”

If Brant Daugherty (Noel) wasn’t an actor, he’d be behind the scenes on a TV show or movie. Brant’s written, directed, and produced short films, and he was a production assistant on several shows before he made his way into acting. Good thing he transitioned onscreen because how could you not put this hottie on camera?

Brendan Robinson (Lucas) would have also been involved in production and said he’d probably be a set designer. Like Brant, he’s written and produced short movies, so he too would have been involved in some part of the entertainment industry.

Similarly to Ian, Bianca Lawson (Maya) would probably have done something in psychology. Although Bianca’s made a career out of acting on teen TV shows, she studied psychology in college (in addition to film of course).

Torrey DeVitto (Melissa) was a model before she was an actress. She was signed by agencies in 2002, but then decided that acting was her true calling.

The PLL cast is really talented and had tons of career options, but we're glad they chose acting!
