So many of us were super bummed when Lisa Wu left The Real Housewives of Atlanta last season. According to an interview in Rolling Out, the beautiful reality star, on the other hand, wasn't too sad about her choice. "I feel great about leaving the show and it was one of the best decision I’ve ever made." Well, then!
Of course, considering all of the great things Lisa now has going for her, it's hard to blame her. "I have been laying low and have three movie projects on the table. Right now, I’m studying for a movie that I will be in and we start filming in March. The movie is called Must be the Music, produced by Stevie G and starring Charles Dutton." Very impressive.
Apparently, one of Lisa's other film projects is a direct result of her novel, When The Cake Is Made, which she wrote with co-author Miasha. "The book is a fiction about three strong women that have a bond like no other. The book will be made into a movie soon. We just got word that we got funded to move forward. I’m so excited!" Lisa gushed. Wow, so cool! Will Lisa be taking on the role of one of the three heroines? No word on that yet.
Last but not least, Lisa has followed in her former co-star's footsteps and braved the fashion world, creating her own clothing line. "My collection will make any woman look like she has a stylist. It’s very seductive, affordable, with a high quality of fabric and affordable prices," the budding designer revealed. Let's hope her threads don't face the same fate as Shereé's underwhelming garments.
Clearly, Lisa Wu Hartwell has been doing pretty well post-Housewives... we still miss her, though!
