Hart Hanson Writes the Last Scene in the Bones Season 6 Finale

With still no word on whether Bones is getting extended through Season 7, we’re pinning all our hopes and dreams on this year’s season finale. Meaning we better see some Booth (David Boreanaz) on Brennan (Emily Deschanel) action — or at least a good makeout scene.

After winning The TV Addict’s Showrunner Madness competition, Bones creator Hart Hanson revealed that he was busy writing the last scene of the season. “All I’m willing to say about it is that not everyone will find it sad,” he teased.

We’re not sure what there is to be sad about, because Episode 23, “The Change in the Game,” centers around the world of competitive bowling. It could very well be the setting that Hart is having second thoughts about. He tweeted, “Whose idea was it to do a Bones episode set in the world of competitive bowling. @squarechicken's is who. Thanks a heap, Steve!”

But executive producer Stephen Nathan wants no part of it: “@HartHanson Me?! You! You're all about the bowling!”

No matter who’s responsible for the bowling theme, we’re just hoping the reason the episode is sad is because Booth bowls his lowest score to date.
