“The Signs in the Silence” a Huge Ratings Win for Bones
It’s no surprise that squintern Arastoo Vaziri (Pej Vehdat) is uber-popular with Bones fans. What’s not to like? He’s cute, nice, and a total team player. Did you not see the awkward scene last week in which he has to lie down on top of Brennan to simulate a murderous act? No? It’s awkward. And amazing.
Based on last week’s ratings, you don’t just like him, you love him. According to TVLine, a record 11.1 million viewers tuned in to watch “The Signs in the Silence,” giving Bones an edge over the other shows in its time slot — heavy-hitters CSI and Grey’s Anatomy — for the first time ever. Is it any coincidence that Pej made his return in the very same ep?
Pej jokingly pointed out the connection, tweeting a message to Bones creator, Hart Hanson: “11.1 million viewers last night! See what happens when Arastoo appears @HartHanson. Lol couldn't even write that with a straight face"
No matter the cause of the mega-viewership, way to go, Bones!
