Rumor: ABC Sent Ali and Roberto to Tahiti to Prove Bachelor Relationships Work?
Somebody has garlic in their soul!
Because it's just not possible that Season 6 Bachelorette couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez actually like each other enough to want to get hitched without producer manipulation, a source is now telling the New York Post’s Page Six that ABC sent the future Martinezes on a luxury trip to Tahiti — along with a photographer to capture their romance and share it with the public.
Why go to this time and expense? "Brad [Womack] was such a disaster," the NY Post's source said. "They need to prove that Bachelor relationships do work."
Ali's rep countered with a "Not true."
Ali and Roberto went on a tropical vacation recently, just before their one-year engagement anniversary. Why there has to be a conspiracy around it is a mystery. Sure, everything in The Bachelor universe tends to get scrutinized for ulterior motives, but can't they leave Ali-Berto alone? (We're guilty of that ourselves most of the time. Hey, it's fun!)
By the way, what do you think of that "Brad was such a disaster" comment? Was the Season 15 Bachelor a total disaster? Some of us still think he and Emily Maynard can work through their issues.
