Dancing With The Stars

Gasp! DWTS Pro Kym Johnson Injured in Rehearsals With Hines Ward

The Dancing With the Stars curse has struck again! No one is safe on Season 12, including sweet Australian pro dancer Kym Johnson, who was hurt Friday, May 13, while practicing with celeb partner Hines Ward.

Extra reports that the couple fell while rehearsing for the Week 9 Semifinals. The L.A. Fire Department confirmed that they sent a rescue ambulance to the studio. Apparently, Kym was taken out on a stretcher with an oxygen mask on her face. Hines was reportedly seen with his head in his hands.

The story is still developing, but this is sounding a lot like Ralph Macchio’s Baker’s cyst, which basically put him out of commission last week. Fans still voted him into the Semifinals with sympathy votes, which could happen to Hines... if Kym doesn’t heal.

Earlier in the season, Ralph’s partner, Karina Smirnoff, tripped over his coat during their Paso Doble. Kirstie Alley was also rescued by her fans when her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s leg gave out during their Rumba.

The four remaining Season 12 couples have three dances each on Monday. Hines & Kym have the Argentine Tango, the Salsa and a "Winner Take All" Cha-Cha-Cha.

Get well soon, Kym! Here’s hoping this is nothing too serious!
