Cynthia Bailey donned a floral Zang Toi gown to host a fashion show thrown by the Georgia Chapter of the International Interior Design Association at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens last week.
In the Project Runway-esque competition, architects and interior designers were challenged to create garments out of materials used in interior design made by their sponsors (eg., wallcovering, flooring materials, paint, etc).
Fellow housewives Sheree Whitfield, Phaedra Parks (with husband Apollo Nida), and Miss Lawrence came out to support Cynthia (hmm, smells like a Real Housewives of Atlanta taping opportunity to us), snack on hors d'oeuvres, and sip wine while watching the runway show in the Gardens. The theme of the evening was "Dressed in the Garden of Eden," and Cynthia definitely fit the bill in her ensemble.
Curiously, Peter Thomas was nowhere to be found, but Cynthia was photographed cozying up to the event chair, Marcus Jackson. Was it just a friendly photo op between co-chair and hostess? He looks pretty cute, plus, he's bald … and we all know Cynthia's weakness.
According to the H'Wives, the couple is still "happily" "married" but their relationship always seemed a little fishy to us. And why isn't Cynthia's hubby out supporting his newlywed wife? Apollo is by Phaedra's side. We're not throwing anyone under the bus, here (OK, so technically, we are), we're just saying.
