Booth and Brennan’s Three Best Moments From Bones Season 6

Over the past six seasons, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) have had a lot of great moments, all of which culminated in a (platonic? romantic?) night in Booth’s bed in last week’s “The Hole in the Heart.” Could the finale reveal B&B to be a true couple — something we’ve longed and hoped for over the past six seasons? Or was creator Hart Hanson’s assurance that fans will “enjoy [the finale] hugely” just requisite end-of-season hype?

If you’re like us and need a break from racking your brain about it, enjoy our favorite moments between the two soul mates in crime-solving from Season 6 below! We have plenty of time to obsess about the rest. Three days, 5 hours, and 32 minutes to be exact...

We admit we feel a little guilty about loving this moment so much. We know it’s not right to be so happy about Hannah rejecting Booth’s marriage proposal, especially when we can clearly see his heart breaking, but we can’t help it — Brennan is the only woman for Seeley. No ifs, ands, or “bones” about it.

2. Valentine's Day, Episode 14: "The Bikini in the Soup"

Valentine’s Day can be a depressing day, even for those in a relationship. But somehow two love pessimists like Booth and Brennan not only find themselves together at a gun range on this romantic holiday, but Temperance surprises Seeley with something he’s always wanted to try: a Tommy gun. Just try to tell us she wouldn’t make a great girlfriend!

The chemistry between these two partners is so strong you can even feel it in the middle of a freaking blizzard! While sitting in Booth’s blackened apartment, with nothing but candles surrounding them, the two write down dates on scraps of paper when they think they’ll be ready to explore a relationship — and burn them.

If they both wrote May 12, we might have to add a fourth favorite moment to this list. What do you think?
