Rumor: Gwyneth Paltrow Album Deal Has “Fizzled Out”
Following her explosive stint on Glee and that Grammys duet with Cee-Lo, everyone assumed Gwyneth Paltrow (Holly Holliday) would eventually release her own album. She reportedly had a deal worked out with Atlantic Records and everything! Not so fast, says a new report.
"Atlantic bosses were very interested, and [Atlantic owner] Warner chief Lyor Cohen was very supportive. But then the talks halted and the deal fizzled out,” a source told Page Six. “There was a rumor that Paltrow wanted $1 million to sign, but that is a ridiculous figure."
Totally! She should just stick to making movies and being the Queen of Coldplay.
But not so fast! According to the same source, Atlantic is still interested in signing her. Huh? Well, guess we’ll find out if her musical aspirations will go the way of Glee... or GOOP.
