The Bachelorette

Vote Now! Should Ames Brown Be the Season 16 Bachelor?

Does your week’s itinerary now include hanging out at shoe stores on the off-chance of meeting a guy like Ames Brown? You’re not alone! Ashley Hebert was pleasantly surprised by witty, charming, and uber-accomplished Ames on The Bachelorette Season 7, Episode 4. And now viewers are taking notice of the Ivy League sweetie, too!

The 30-year-old portfolio manager has degrees from Yale and Columbia and he’s working on his doctorate at Harvard. He also runs marathons and was named Yale's Athlete of the Week in 1999 after running a 62.3-mile ultramarathon. To keep in shape, Ames works out with a trainer six times a week. We’re pretty sure he’s also thisclose to a cure for cancer.

On top of that, we learned on Episode 4 that Ames has visited 70 countries. He also previously visited Thailand to climb mountains and take a culinary course. He’s a spontaneous guy and wants a spontaneous, open-minded woman. It could be Ashley, but we’re thinking it’s not.

However, he might be right for you and 24 complete strangers! If Ashley doesn’t choose Ames in the end, should ABC cast him as the Season 16 Bachelor?
