Natalie Getz: Ashley Wasn’t Emotionally Mature Enough to Be the Bachelorette
If The Bachelorette is playing up the whole Bentley Williams thing to get the audience to feel sympathy for Ashley Hebert — it isn't working. Not only are viewers turning their pitchforks on Ashley in frustration, past contestants are getting frustrated with her, too.
"In my opinion, I don't think Ashley was emotionally mature enough to be The Bachelorette," Natalie Getz tells RumorFix. "I'm completely embarrassed for [her].”
Nat went from a not-so-hot showing on The Bachelor Season 13 to winning Bachelor Pad Season 1 with David Good. Now she's part of the Tuesday night Bachelorette Beatdown crew, along with Ashley Hebert's BFF from The Bachelor Season 15, Ashley Spivey.
We wonder how Ashley S. is going to react to Natalie's harsh words for the Season 7 Bachelorette.
"Ashley is making a fool of herself with this Bentley stuff,” Natalie tells RumorFix. “She straight up still says that she thinks Bentley is the one for her despite the fact that she knew him for nine days and hasn't seen him in nearly 15 days at this point. Wake up, girl! He may be the one for you, but you are not the one for him."
As Nat's fellow Bachelorette Beatdown participant, Wes Hayden, tweeted about the Bachelorette, "Ashley is 1 desperate chick! Bless her heart but do u think she has ever tried it pull her head out of her ass? Thats aight tight fit man..." (Editor’s note: Is it any wonder Wes made our list of the top Bachelorette jerks?)
Ashley Spivey is still supporting her friend in her own blog, Say No To Cosmo and she retweeted this note from someone else: "@AshleySpivey Tell Ash not to read message boards. They're brutal. =( But everyone will love her again when she gets her happy ending! =)"
That’s probably true. Season 6 BacheloretteAli Fedotowsky had a rough time of it during her “journey” — dealing with insecurities and her own bad boy issues — but all was forgiven when she had her happy ending. We hope it’s the same for Ashley.
