Season 7 Scoop: Bones Is Dealing With Chorionic Gonadotropin (Say What?)

Last week, Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan gave us a bug-flavored morsel to chew on regarding the Season 7 premiere episode, titled “The Memories in the Shallow Grave.” As for this week, now that we have a general overview of the season’s first six (or seven?) episodes, Nathan’s decided to add to our vast store of pre-Season 7 knowledge (can you hear the sarcasm?).

“Bones is dealing with some Chorionic Gonadotropin,” Nathan tweeted today. “But hey, haven’t we all?” Well, some more than others — chorionic gonadotropin shows up in everyone’s pituitary gland, but it’s best known (if you can call it that) for being produced during pregnancy. Our prediction: “Memories” gives Brennan an opportunity to actually express some emotion by empathizing with a victim who was pregnant.
