Richard Castle’s Deadly Storm Graphic Novel to be Released This Fall

Castle is heading to Comic-Con again this weekend, and conveniently, pics from Rick Castle’s real life graphic novel, Richard Castle’s Deadly Storm, have been released just in time.

For those who don’t remember, the upcoming Derrick Storm mystery graphic novel received a nod during the show’s season finale when Castle mentioned he was working on it. And just like Richard Castle’s other novels — which have been mentioned on the show and then gone on to be produced in real life (and do stuff like, you know, land on The New York Times bestseller list) — this book is the real deal.

Yup. The as-mentioned-on-TV graphic novel, co-written by Brian Michael Bendis of Avengers and Kelly Sue DeConnick of Captain America, will be released by Marvel comics on October 28.

While we’re not exactly geeking out over the novel the way, say, Nathan Fillion (Castle) would, we must admit that Derrick Storm guy is totally hot … for a cartoon.
