Stana Katic at Comic-Con 2011: IGN Interview About the New Batman Video Game

While conflicts kept Stana Katic (Beckett) from joining her Castle castmates at their Comic-Con panel, the brunette beauty was able to make the event and chat about another project she was recently involved in, her voiceover for Talia al Gaul in the latest Batman video game.

For those not in the know, Katic’s character Talia is the daughter of notorious Batman villain Ra al Ghul. Given that Batman: Arkham City was called one of the most anticipated video game releases of the year by IMDB, the gig is kinda a big deal. So, how was Katic’s very first video game voice-over?

“Talia is such a complex character and it was great to voice her in Batman: Arkham City,” said Katic. “I was amazed at all the detail put into the project and it’s great to see how excited the fans are about the game.”

The spawn of Batman’s archnemesis was revealed at Comic-Con over the weekend, and we have to wonder: is some of the “detail” Katic is talking about is the fact that the character looks just like her (if she wore black leather from head-to-toe and didn’t mind baring her midriff all the time, that is)? The resemblance is uncanny!
