All My Children fans, brace yourselves for a quasi-reunion: Justin Bruening nabbed himself a recurring guest role alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar on Ringer. Well, thank goodness for that; the show was seriously lacking in the male eye-candy department (#sarcasm).
On that note, let's do a little Ringer hottie round-up, shall we? The male contingent of the cast is now comprised of Fantastic Four‘s Ioan Gruffudd, Life Unexpected‘s Kristoffer Polaha, Lost's Nestor Carbonell, and the aforementioned daytime hunk Justin. He'll be playing Tyler, a man who goes after Siobhan, who, if you're keeping track, is already juggling her husband (played by Ioan) and her thing on the side (played by Kristoffer). Poor SMG. She has so many hot boys she has to make out with!
Of course, this is really more of an alumni gathering since SMG left AMC several years before Justin came on as Jamie Martin, so they never acted opposite each other other on the soap. He himself left All My Children in 2007 and starred in the short-lived Knight Rider remake.
Justin is slated to appear in the third episode on September 27, two weeks after the premiere airs. Fingers crossed the show stays around long enough for us to watch him join the cast!
