The New York Post is reporting that Tyler — who is already tied into a two-year deal worth about $10 million a year — is growing restless and is now demanding more money. According to a source, his management believes “He was just as sensational and as popular on the panel as Jennifer. But, on the other side, show bosses argue he's tied into a deal and has to stick to it. However, it's hoped they can come to a compromise to keep Steven happy, because the producers love him.”
Steven may be stirring the pot, but veteran judge Randy Jackson maintains that he's committed to coming back to the show.
While J.Lo’s lofty fee has reportedly been agreed upon, another source reveals that nothing is set, and the final negotiations revolve around scheduling her Idol appearances around her other TV and movie commitments. Her spokesman said, “Talks are ongoing — she has nothing to announce as yet.”
